The board of directors approved the purchase and installation of one IKO S net climber at a cost not to exceed $30,000 at the June 20 meeting.
The order was placed and is expected in six to eight weeks depending on the shipping situation. New “Fibar” will be installation on the ground of the tot lot area. Fibar is the protective safety surfacing also known as ASTM Certified Engineered Wood Fiber.
Engineered wood fiber (EWF) is a wood product that looks similar in appearance to landscaping mulch, but EWF products are designed specifically for use as a playground safety surface under and around playground equipment.
The equipment and Fibar installations will follow the U.S. Consumer Product Safety
Commission’s (“CPSC” or “Commission”) Public Playground Safety Handbook.

Why we are spending 30K for playground but we have no money for commercial quality umbrellas and good lounge in our pool? Today everyone complained in small pool about it.
Thanks
From Mr. Dan James:
After checking with the board president, on Saturday, I ordered about $700 worth of shade equipment for the small pool. The delivery is scheduled for the week July 4. Two canopies one 10′ x 10′ and the other 12′ x 8′ both to be installed along the fence on the right side of the pool as you enter. They will be attached to the fence at the rear with weights on the front legs to keep them down in the breezy afternoons. If this works and people like them, I’ll get another one or two with weights on all four legs away from the fence.
Cabana Pool – The Cabana pool opened today. The pool service folks will clean it daily M-F until the landscaping is installed. No shade equipment will be purchased right away due the coming landscape construction. The small pool will be better.
